Katie Anwalt, M.S. CCC-SLP, ATS

Katie Anawalt, M.S. CCC-SLP, ATS is a speech-language pathologist and assistive technology  specialist who has been working with individuals with complex communication needs for nearly  two decades, specializing in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to  maximize an individual’s learning and communication potential.

 

Certified in Rapid Prompting  Method (RPM), Ms. Anawalt has studied closely under RPM’s creator, Soma Mukhopadyay,  since 2004. Ms. Anawalt has worked in schools, homes, and clinical settings, nationally and  internationally, collaborating with families and their support staff - advocating for and working  towards access to and achievement of autonomous and independent multimodal communication. In 2018, Ms. Anawalt founded The Anawalt Practice (TAP) based in Los Angeles.
